Oyelola Oyewale, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication has emerged as Public Relations Officer of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti Chapter.
Oyelola polled 194 votes to defeat Mr Adelana of Urban and Regional Planning Department during an election held on Tuesday at the Conference.
The Media Expert in his manifesto, promised to launch the ASUP-FPA Quarterly Bulletin and give the chapter activities deserving media attention.
Oyelola is currently the Vice President (Administration and Communications) Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists ( NGIJ) and Secretary of the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP).
He holds a Masters/Degree/HND in Mass Communication. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and Strategic Studies.
Oyelola joined Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti in 2019. He has over 16 years of post-graduation experience.
