With just a few days to the much-anticipated Kwara 2027 Manifesto Discourse, the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has reiterated the importance of participation by governorship candidates, their campaign teams and other invited stakeholders in the strategic engagement scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at Rotana Hotel, Fate, Ilorin.
The programme, which is scheduled to commence at 3:00 p.m., will provide governorship candidates with an important opportunity to articulate their visions, policy priorities and development agenda for Kwara State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
All distinguished governorship candidates, selected members of their respective campaign teams and guests are expected to be seated at the venue immediately after the Jummat prayers, to ensure a smooth and timely commencement of the programme.
In line with the established guidelines for the engagement, each governorship candidate will be allotted 30 minutes to present their vision and briefly outline the policies, programmes and interventions they intend to pursue for the benefit of Kwarans if elected into office.
It is important to clarify that the Manifesto Discourse is neither a political debate nor an interview session. Rather, it is a structured platform designed to allow candidates to communicate their proposed governance agenda, explain their policy direction and demonstrate their understanding of the developmental needs and aspirations of the people.
