The Kwara Central Advancement Stakeholders Forum, comprising APC members from Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South Local Government Areas, has thrown their weight behind the gubernatorial bid of Amb. Yahaya Seriki.
In a statement released to the press by the Secretary of the Forum, Arc. Akanbi Lamidi, the stakeholders urged Kwarans to support the frontline gubernatorial aspirant.
The statement reads:
“The Kwara Central Advancement Stakeholders Forum, comprising APC members from Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South Local Government Areas, has keenly observed the ongoing selection process of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) towards the nomination of its gubernatorial candidate.
“We have assessed all aspirants and carefully reviewed their track records with respect to the socio-economic and political advancement of Kwara Central and Kwara State at large, as vigorously pursued and largely achieved by His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, over the years.
“We therefore call on all Kwarans to join hands with us towards the emergence of one of our illustrious sons, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flagbearer in the forthcoming 2027 general election.”
The group concluded by calling on all Nigerians to support the re-election of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
