The Kwara Tabloid is set to host its 12th Public Lecture and Awards Ceremony on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Febbies Hall, Monisoye Afolabi Close, off Awolowo Road, Pipeline, Ilorin. The prestigious event will commence at 3:00pm.
This year’s edition promises to be a gathering of high-profile personalities, policymakers, professionals, and community leaders, all uniting to celebrate outstanding achievements and engage in thought-provoking discussions on national development.
Sen. (Dr.) Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Abuja, will chair the occasion. The Lady Chairman is Mrs. Bunmi Babalola, Co-founder of the BBBF, Omu-Aran, who is also expected to play a key role in the event’s proceedings.
Renowned neurosurgeon and development advocate, Prof. Olawale Suleiman (MD, PhD, CON), President of the RNZ Foundation, will deliver the keynote lecture. His address is anticipated to highlight critical national issues and provide insights aimed at fostering progress and societal advancement.
The Special Guest of Honour for the day is Hon. (Engr.) Kola Shittu, Chairman of Strudev Engineering, Ilorin. Additionally, Mallam Yusufu Abdullahi, Chairman of Jasma Rice Mill, Falokun, will deliver the goodwill message.
