
Kwara Tabloid Leadership Series has announced plans to host Political Concourse 2026, a high-level forum aimed at stimulating meaningful conversations on governance, leadership, and the future of Kwara State.
Scheduled to hold on Friday, June 12, 2026, the event will bring together political stakeholders, policy advocates, academics, and members of the public to examine state’s political trajectory and explore pathways for sustainable development.
Themed “Where We Were; Where We Are and Where We Are Headed,” the programme is designed to provide a platform for critical reflection on Kwara’s political evolution, current realities, and future prospects.
Expected speakers at the event include Ibraheem Abdullateef, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kwara State on Communications; Prince Tunji Moronfoye, PhD, former Commissioner for Information; Dr. Ogunsola, Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Kwara State; and Prof. Fatai Aremu, a former House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The forum will be chaired by Engr. Femi Sanni, FNSE, while proceedings are scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. prompt.

The event will take place at The Knowledge Platform, Mustapha Akanbi Foundation Complex, Water View, Ilorin GRA.
According to the organisers, Political Concourse 2026 seeks to deepen public engagement in governance by creating an avenue for robust discussions on leadership, accountability, and the political future of Kwara State.
The organisers expressed optimism that the forum will contribute to shaping informed perspectives and strengthening democratic participation among citizens.
